Join expert, Dave Tosh, to learn about the mysterious animals that call Slieve Gullion home. Our wildlife is often elusive, particularly during the day, but they leave plenty of clues that they are around.
Dave will teach you how to identify tracks and trails as well as other signs of an animal’s presence. He will also teach you how to record your findings so that they can be used by researchers.
If you are lucky and quiet enough, you may catch a glimpse of a red squirrel or pine marten, which are part of an important conservation project running at Slieve Gullion Forest Park.
This event is aimed at 16+.
