In partnership with Queen’s University Belfast’s Centre for Archeological Fieldwork (CAF), the Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership is planning to undertake a new programme of archaeological investigation at the site of the a lost hill fort at Cornahove near Lough Ross, tonight is the night we display all the finds from “digging into our past”!
The archaeological excavation took take place last week and there were community groups, schools, heritage groups, sports groups all digging into our past. As the archaeologists uncovered the secrets that remained a mystery for thousands of years they will be displayed tonight.
