Join National Trust Ranger Rosemary Mulholland on a guided Dawn Chrous walk in Derrymore woods.
Wrap up warmly to enjoy the sounds of spring, as quiet stillness of the pre-dawn is broken by our native bird song, greeting the new day. Our experienced guide, Rosemary Mulholland will help you distinguish the sounds of the different species of birds from the small but very loud wren to the distinctive call of the chiff-chaff.
Please dress warmly and bring a torch to help you move around safely in the pre-dawn darkness. The walk will take place in Derrymore woods and we’ll be meeting in the visitor’s car park.
After the Dawn Chorus walk the group will be gathering at the Millbrook Café for a cooked breakfast.
The walk will cost £8.00 per person which includes breakfast.
