Visit Slieve Gullion Courtyard for a themed event designed to celebrate our local links with Europeans who live and work in the Newry, Mourne and Down region as well as further afield.
Come along to this free family event which celebrates the culture of our European neighbours. Experience the different styles of traditional dance and music from the Bulgarian, Irish, Polish, Spanish, Roma and Russian communities. It will also be a fantastic opportunity to try your hand at traditional crafts from Bulgaria, Ireland and Poland.
If you’re feeling musical why not join in with a drumming circle? Or if you’d like to tantalise your taste buds check out the European Food Market, with samples of food from across Europe. There will also be the opportunity to develop your Hoola Hooping skills and get to grips with Giant Bubbles.
