Feeding your Senses

Interested in a sensory, historical and storytelling experience through the gentle slopes of Feede Mountain, Jonesborough? Then join experienced local guide Verona and meditation facilitator Ann as they develop your appreciation and awareness of nature walking and listening to stories of the mighty warriors Cú Chulainn and Fionn Mac Cumhaill.

Join experienced local guide Venora, and meditation facilitator Ann, on this unique sensory journey. Experience a mindful walk on the gentle slopes of Feede mountain and learn about the powerful holistic benefits of ‘forest–bathing’. Connect with the landscape as you listen to tales of legendary warriors like Cú Chulainn and Fionn Mac Cumhaill. Forage and learn about healing plants along the way.

After your walk, visit a food artisan at his quirky farmhouse and enjoy a mindful ‘home – produced’ lunch – vegetarian soup and bread (suitable for vegans) local cheeses, chutneys and jams.

The walk departs from the carpark at the old Church of Ireland church, Jonesborough; just across the bridge, up the hill, from the Carrickdale hotel on the left-hand side.

Cost: £15 / €17 per person – Booking essential
