People and businesses in Newry can learn about getting online and boost their digital skills for free as Google brings Google Digital Garage to the Flexi Work Space on Tuesday 9th October at 6pm – 8pm.
Google Digital Garage is a place where anyone can come and learn free digital skills to help them find a job, grow in their career, grow their confidence online, or grow a business. In the last two years, over 200,000 people across the UK have benefitted from Google’s free face-to-face training on digital know-how.
Two of the latest digital marketing courses will be delivered at this evening event, where attendees can learn new practical skills around Google Analytics, Pay Per Click marketing, Display Advertising and reaching new customers.
The two courses being delivered are:
1) An Introduction to Digital Advertising shows small businesses how to attract new customers by optimising their presence on Google, gathering consumer insights, and online advertising.
2) Know your Business with Data to explore how Google Analytics can help you uncover trends about your customers, including how people use your website or interact with your business online.

These courses will be delivered by Emma Gribben, an international digital marketing consultant, mentor and trainer and a certified trainer with the Google Digital Garage.
