Guided Walk with Ann Ward | Ring of Gullion Autumn Festival 2025
Join Ann Ward, holistic tour guide from Xhale, for a mindful walk through the hills and heritage of South Armagh. As part of the Ring of Gullion Autumn Festival, this guided experience blends nature, history, and wellbeing.
What to Expect
We’ll walk approximately 6 miles (return) from Ann’s WW2 Nissen hut in Meigh to the Court Tomb of Ballymacdermot, then back again. Along the way, take in the spectacular views with Slieve Gullion by your side. Breathe in the spectacular landscape with Slieve Gullion mountain by your side, as we prepare for the Autumn Equinox.
After the walk, enjoy a nurturing lunch back at the hut, featuring:
- Sandwiches and wraps
- Fresh fruit
- Autumn Fest Fifteens by Mourne Food Adventures
- Infused water, tea, and coffee
A Stunning Setting
This event takes place in the heart of South Armagh, within the beautiful Ring of Gullion Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The area is part of the Mourne Gullion Strangford UNESCO Global Geopark, known for its rich heritage, vibrant culture, and breathtaking landscapes — a perfect backdrop for reflection and connection.
