Join our local historians Una Walsh and Kevin Murphy for a reunion night reminiscing about Carricknagvna National/Primary School and the surrounding townlands. The school opened in 1858 and closed in 1972 and was the heart of the community for over a century. Did you attend or teach there, or do you have a relative who went there? Perhaps you can find them or yourself in the old photographs, roll books and school reports.
Even if you have no links to Carricknagavna, come and reminisce about school in the good old days and share the tales of your townland.
