We are looking for volunteers to assist with the tending of the tree nursery; now sited in the Tí Chulainn allotment in Mullaghbane. The allotment hasn’t been used to its full potential recently and a number of the raised beds have become choked with weeds. We need assistance with clearing the beds and preparing them for the larger tree saplings which have already outgrown their pots.
All tools will be provided, all you need to bring with you are weather appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear and a packed lunch.
All help would be greatly appreciated.
