Volunteer Opportunity – Vegetation clearance at Derrymore Estate

Clearing invasive cherry laurel from Derrymore Estate.

Join us on the last vegetation clearance opportunity of the season, this time helping National Trust Ranger, Rosemary, to clear some invasive cherry laurel from the scenic Derrymore estate. Vegetation clearance is a fantastic opportunity for a free work out in the fresh air, which has environmental benefits as well as physical and mental ones.

All tools and safety equipment is provided, as is tea/coffee and biscuits. All you need to bring with you is weather appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear (hiking boots are ideal) and a packed lunch.

Registration essential.
