Who goes there? Wildlife Tracks and Trails

Join us to find and record tracks and traces of the wildlife you rarely spot out and about during the day. Learn to make plaster-of-paris casts of pawprints, see the results of recent camera trapping of red squirrels and pine martens, learn the difference between sheep and badger fur and much, much more.

Join us to find and record tracks and traces of the wildlife you rarely spot out and about during the day.  Learn to make plaster-of-paris casts of pawprints, see the results of recent camera trapping of red squirrels and pine martens, learn the difference between sheep and badger fur and much, much more. This is a joint event in partnership with The Conservation Volunteers and Ecomantella environmental education. We will also be learning how to record some of the wildlife we find out on the guided walk using simple smart phone apps and on-line recording.  This event is part of the What’s about in the Wild Programme.
