British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) Training

Looking out for birds? Share your interest in birds with others by being part of the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO). Volunteer surveyors, members and staff work in partnership to provide unbiased information about birds and their habitats. Volunteer today and make birds count.

Training includes for the Breeding Bird Survey and Lowland Breeding Wader in March. A full list of training is available below.

All the training days are free. Each day is a stand-alone day of training, so you only need to attend one day for any one of the surveys.  Each day will start at 09.30am and will be finished by 13.30pm or 14.00pm.

You do not have to be a member of BTO to attend.

If you are interested in attending a training day, please let  Shane Wolsey BTO NI 07831 697371 [email protected] know as soon as you can.
