Be a part of European Heritage Open Days 2018

European Heritage Open Days- Application Open to Register Events.

This year the theme for EHOD is ‘The Art of Sharing’ which presents an opportunity to share our heritage stories through our buildings and their connections to location and people. This can be explored through workshops, talks, tours, exhibitions, art, literature, song, dance, drama, film, food or craft.

EHOD 2018 will also be a highlight of the European Year of Cultural Heritage, an initiative of the European Commission, to promote a greater awareness of our shared cultural heritage. Cultural heritage is the fabric of lives and communities. It is evident in our buildings in towns and cities and villages, in our monuments and our natural environment.

Why not get involved and run an event and share you connections to our shared heritage? We only ask that any event has at its core heritage and the historic environment. Register now for EHOD 2018

For further information on how you can get involved in EHOD please email [email protected] or call 028 9082 3238. The closing date to register to be included in the EHOD Brochure is 13 April 2018. Registration  will require 2 photos 1 of which needs to be landscape.
