Grants of up to £5k are available – Live Here, Love Here

We all want to see positive changes to where we live. With your help, the ‘live here love here’ campaign will grow the number of people willing to play a part. We’d all like cleaner streets, less dog fouling and graffiti, more green space and better use of unused and derelict buildings. We want to hear any ideas you might have to help build a sense of civic responsibility and community pride which will make the places we live so much better for everyone.

Overview of the Small Grant Scheme

The Live Here Love Here programme is a partnership between Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, the Department of the Environment, participating local Councils, and the Tourism Northern Ireland. The scheme awards grants of up to £5000 and aims to support volunteers undertaking practical actions to do at least one of the following:

  • Improve the quality of your local environment
  • Enhance the environmental management of a local area
  • Contribute to the development of civic pride within a community with a focus on environmental improvement.
  • Improve the environment around coastal areas or inland waterways

Groups which have previously received support from Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful can apply, and you can make more than one application. We also strongly encourage Partnership Working and welcome your application.
GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2015 SCHEME WILL OPEN LATER THIS YEAR, CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES, OR REGISTER AS A SUPPORTER TO RECEIVE UPDATES.
