NMD Sports Awards

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council in association with the Sports Association Newry, Down and South Armagh (SANDSA) is delighted to announce the launch of its inaugural sports awards.

The celebration event in the Canal Court Hotel, Newry on Thursday 7 March 2019 will recognise the remarkable achievements of the local sporting community. Nominations are now open for the NMD Sports Awards in association with SANDSA, with sports clubs, local organisations and sports fans all encouraged to take part.

You can collect forms from the Leisure and Sport Department at Newry Leisure Centre and Down Leisure Centre or you can download a form below.

Nominations must be received by 4pm on Thursday 24 January 2019 to be considered for the NMD Sports Awards 2019. Any nominations received after this date will not be considered. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.

Completed nomination forms can be returned to Newry Leisure Centre or Down Leisure Centre. Alternatively these can be scanned and returned via email: [email protected]
