Tree felling operations in Slieve Gullion Forest

Tree felling operations in the main woodland area of Slieve Gullion Forest will be ongoing for a period of approximately 3 months. The Scenic Drive will be closed to public vehicle access from Monday, 23rd February; however, car parking for visitors will still be available in the forest car park adjacent to the Play Park and Courtyard.

Forest Visitors are asked to observe all Health & Safety signage that is in place throughout the period of working. Additional information signage concerning bio-security precautions, and to give advance warning of the work, will be placed at key access points.

Any enquiries regarding this work should be directed to [email protected] or by phone to 028 4377 2241 – Monday to Friday 09:00 to 16:00 hours only.
