Woodland Grants – Undecided? try a farm woodland walk

The Forest Service invites you along to a woodland walk and open day being held at Andrew Cunningham’s Farm, Crookedstone. If you are still undecided about whether to plant your own woodland, would like a bit more information about woodland grants or existing woodland management and would like to talk to representatives from Forest Service and other like-minded landowners, this is a perfect opportunity.

Andrew Cunningham, Crookedstone, 1 Ballyarnot Road, Crumlin, Co. Antorm, BT29 4DT on Saturday 3rd September. Meet at 10.30am, Farm woodland Walk starts at 11am, and the talk on the forestry grant begins at 12.30pm.

This grant is for:

  • to plant over 5 hectares
  • 100% of cost of planting covered
  • up to £172 per acre per annum in addition
  • retain your single farm payment
