Funding Opportunity of up to £75,000 for Rural Businesses across Newry, Mourne and Down District

Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership has been established to deliver Priority 6 of the Rural Development Programme across Newry, Mourne and Down District.

Mourne, Gullion and Lecale Rural Development Partnership will be holding a series of Mandatory Pre-Application Workshops across the district for potential applicants who wish to apply under the scheme of Rural Business Investment.

Information will be presented on: An overview of the programme, eligibility criteria, and the application process.

There will also be an opportunity to speak with a member of staff on a one-to-one basis.

There are a number of pre-requisites to applying to the programme:

• Attendance at one of the above Mandatory Pre-Application Workshops is essential
• Workshops must be attended by a representative that has authority to sign on behalf of the organisation e.g. business owner or company director – you cannot send someone on your behalf

Further information on the application process will be presented during the sessions. Businesses operating within Downpatrick or Newry are not eligible for grant support.
