The John Toal Show Live in Forkhill

John Toal  broadcasted live on Saturday 11th May from the household of the talented Quigg Family in Forkhill, with young Trad band Soilse – providing the tunes as well as Briege Murphy – who penned the famous song ‘The Hills of South Armagh’.

After completing the Darkness into Light walk, Kilian Thornton shared the importance of challenging the stigma around mental health.

Historian Una Walsh give an insight into the fascinating stories that surround Slieve Gullion.

Under the instruction of host Teresa Quigg, John took a turn at some set dancing and All Ireland winner Pierce Larkin sang a poem penned by the local eighteenth century poet Peadar Ó Doirnín.
