Your Local Birdlife Needs You!

Do you ever find yourself mesmerised by the birds in your garden? Gardens are a great place in which to view wild birds. By putting out some food, perhaps in a hanging feeder or on a bird table, you should be able to attract lots of different species.

By noting and recording what birds are in your garden you can take part in a really important project to help increase our understanding of the vital role of gardens in supporting the natureal environment and the wildlife within it.

To learn more about what you can do, why not join one of the Garden BirdWatch workshops? Discover what species the birds visiting your garden actually are, as well as when and how to record their presence.

Click here for birdwatching workshops list and here for other bird surveys happening over Northern Ireland.
